HTC has summed up the preliminary results of the activities throughout the spring of 2010 and reported that this period was one of the best in terms of financial performance in the history of the company. It is noted that during the period net profit increased by 33% compared to the same period in 2009 and reached a value of $ 268 million in the same time, net income increased by 58% compared to last spring and reached a value of about $ 1.9 billion. The number of sold devices are not reported, but in the end of April, representatives of HTC expressed forecast assumption that during the spring will be sold around 4.5 million smartphones.

The main reason for significantly improving the financial situation of the company called the growing popularity of mobile operating system, Google Android, which causes an increase in demand for smartphones that use it. It is noticed that recently Droid Incredible and Evo 4G are leaders of sales at operators of mobile communication Verizon and Sprint. In Europe models Desire, Legend and Wildfire are also in great demand.
